Georgia Movie Academy 2008
The 2008 Georgia Movie Academy theme was “Connecting to a Global Community.” Taylor County had different ideas on this topic. Once again Taylor County won several “Oscars,” taking home Best Picture honors in the primary, middle, and high school divisions. However, this was the first year (and hopefully last year) that the overall Best Picture award did not come home with us.
